“restless quest”

Not too much explanation needed for this one. All about being woken up in turn by my three ladies (sorry Karen!)

I love these Copic markers more than any other medium I’ve tried. Like drawing with biro, there’s something instant and irreversible that makes me relax and keep going through the imperfections. Back in the (long ago) day I used to love painting with oil paint washes, they took ages to dry so you could pfaff around as long as you wanted. A bit like my other habit of zooming in to 2000% in Photoshop – invisible to the naked eye!

Done on white and inverted after scanning, it was a great brain exercise to visualise.
